SAP Design Studio Export: How to export crosstabs with hidden columns

Using CSS you can adapt the tables generated by the CROSSTAB component according to your needs.

You can simply change colors, but you can also hide entire colums.

Unfortunately this flexibility is not supported by SAP's standard export. The table is always exported as a standard table with standard coloring and all columns.

Let's say you have the following table:

And you want to hide the three first columns from the view:

 

As our Export add on for SAP Design Studio generates the documents based on what is displayed to the end user, you automatically receive the same output e.g. when exporting to Excel!

No configuration has to be changed for this!

Note that also the hierarchy is taken over as a grouping to Excel.
